As the lead industrial designer, I led the client through the creation of a creative brief to establish the visual and emotional direction for his new company through moodboards and design workshops. The outcome led directly into multiple stages of concept development through sketching and model building where we tested the usability and shaped the form of the product. We helped the client come to a solution that was manufacturable and practical to wear and aided them through the production process with first article inspections and the creation and approval of the final color, material and finish. The product went on to gather over $550,000 on indiegogo and has recently started shipping product worldwide to happy customers.
